Film in collaboration with my mum, Ceramicist Caroline Chouler-Tissier, revisiting the place she came to 30 years ago shortly after her mum's death.
We returned together, connecting to the memory and photograph of her first visit and retracing the paths she took 30 years previously.
We shared a euphoric moment, raising our hands slowly in the air, to mimic the photograph that her friend Andy took at the time. I wanted my film to capture the time that had past, her slow movements and stillness as my mum stood in solitude, remembering and celebrating her mum's memory.
